Last #FishtankSession of the season is going to be a very special one:

We are ecstatic to have Mebourne-based 30/70 join us for a live recording session at Noize Fabrik.

WHEN: Thursday, 19th July 19:00
WHERE: Noize Fabrik, Elsenstrasse 52, 3.OG, 12059 Berlin
ENTRY: 8€ at the door (capacity is limited, RSVP via hello@noizefabrik.com)

30/70 is a cosmic mélange of boom-bap dynamics, neo-soul harmonies and jazz-funk licks, all steeped in a deep spiritual tradition, reaching from Alice Coltrane to Kamasi Washington.

Lovingly referred to as a community rather than a band, 30/70 is, at its core, a quintet made up of Allysha Joy, Ziggy Zeitgeist, Horatio Luna, Thhomas & Chaser that swells up to a 9 piece ensemble when the music calls for it. Forever delivering their signature hypnotic groove.

‘Elevate’, their second studio effort after their debut LP, ‘Cold Radish Coma’, is set to launch them to the international stage. Under the management of Wondercore Island (Hiatus Kaiyote, Oscar Key Sung, Daniel Merriweather) and with the release dropped on Bradley Zero’s Rhythm Section Intl. (Al Dobson Jr, Silent Jay x Jace XL, Henry Wu), 30/70 are ready to take their message from Northcote to the world.

This is a live recording session. A group of audio and film professionals will record and film the session live, which is why we ask for people to turn off their phones during the performance, avoid talking as much as possible as long as music is being played, and to not enter the event space with drinks. By entering the space you agree to be filmed.
